In order to provide appropriate medical service from the patient's perspective, safeguarding foreign patients’ rights and dignity, language assistance is necessary at times.
Our dedicated staff at the International Assistance Desk aim to assist foreign patients, ensuring proper medical service are being received, safe and carefree.
Our interpreters currently provide translation services in the following languages. For languages not supported by our interpreters, translation devices will be used. If you need language assistance, please feel free to contact our International Assistance Desk.

Interpretation Service Fee
Free for Minato-ku and Shinagawa-ku Japanese public insurance holder.
For Japanese public insurance holder living in other areas, \1,000 (tax exclusive) per department. Additional \1,000 (tax exclusive) if interpreting time exceeds 2 hours.
For non-Japanese public insurance holder, interpretation fee has already been included in their 200% medical charge.
