Guide to first/follow-up consultation

Registration hours

What to bring when coming to the hospital

  • Health insurance card/my number card
  • Residence card/passport
  • Letter of referral (if you have)                               

First consultation

If you need language assistance, please reach out to the international assistance desk's staff. 

* If you have a referral letter (CD) please present them to counter No.1 for registration. 

If you do not have a referral letter from another medical institution, you will have to pay a 3,300 yen (including tax).

Follow-up consultation

Using the self-registration machine 

For follow-up consultation, you can complete registration with the self-registration machine which operates from 7:45.
Insert your hospital ID card into the self-registration machine, and follow the on-screen guidance.
* If it is your first time for a specific department or you have not been coming to our hospital for over 3 months, please go to counter No.1 to register.

Payment procedure

When you finish your consultation/examination, please proceed to counter No.2 .

When your bill is ready for settlement, your patient number will be displayed on the screen on top of the self-check out machine.

Please pay at the machine accordingly. We accept cash or credit card.

Credit card

You can pay for medical fees with physical credit cards with pin-input only. The following cards can be used.

Confirm credit card limits with your credit card company in advance.
You cannot pay with a combination of cash and credit or two or more credit cards, debit cards, Suica/Pasmo, QR code payment. 

Out of hours consultation and deposit

If it is not an emergency or you would like to consult a specialist, we recommend you to visit us during 9:00 am-11:30 am (Mon-Fri). *except Japanese holidays.

Before coming to our hospital for out of hours consultation, please call us at 03-3443-9191 to see if you can be accepted for consultation.

Patient is required to leave a deposit in order to receive out of hours consultation. Refund or shortfall will be settled at a later date. Settlement method is as follows:

【Deposit amount】 

  • 10,000 yen, if you have joined Japan’s national health insurance and can present your insurance card/My Number Card.
  • 50,000 yen, if you have joined Japan’s national health insurance but did not bring your Japan’s national health insurance card/My Number Card.
  • 100,000 yen, if you have not joined Japan’s national health insurance and are living abroad.

We do not deal directly with any overseas insurance companies on payment. Patients must pay the full amount at the cashier counter in person.

【Deposit receipt】

A deposit receipt, which is necessary for bill settlement, will be issued after receiving your deposit. Please keep it safe until payment is complete.

【Bill adjustment】

Please come to 1F, counter No.3 with your hospital ID card and deposit receipt within 10 business days after your consultation (Mon - Fri 9:00-15:30, except public holidays) for bill adjustment.
