Guide to off-hours treatment

We treat/examine patients when we are closed, at night, etc., as needed for sudden illness.
Therefore, patients with more serious conditions or urgency are given priority.
Depending on a patient’s symptoms, the examination order could change. Please understand that this could result in a longer wait.
Care during off-hours is only provided to patients with severe conditions who need emergency operations or treatment. Therefore, if you have symptoms during the day or prolonged ones, come for an examination during the weekday treatment hours for outpatients.

* For off-hours treatment, call before coming to the hospital to ensure that it can be provided smoothly.
Your call will be connected to the nurse on duty. Please describe your symptoms, etc.

Additional fees for patients without referrals

(1) Additional fees for patients without referrals at initial visits
In order to promote the functional separation (*1) between hospitals and clinics, if you do not have a letter of referral from another medical institution authorized to treat patients with health insurance coverage at your first visit, you will be required to pay 3,300 yen (including tax) in addition to the treatment fees (if you are not enrolled in Japanese health insurance, this is 18,000 yen without tax).
Please understand and accept the above before undergoing the medical examination.

(*1) Functional separation between hospitals and clinics
This is a separation of roles for fulfilling medical functions according to medical conditions, where general consultations and initial examinations to maintain health are performed at clinics by family doctors, and specialized tests and treatment requiring hospitalization are provided by hospitals.
Based on a close relationship with local medical practitioners, we strive to provide quality medical care focusing on specialized tests and inpatient treatment.
